Another wonderful year at the National Home Infusion Association Annual Conference (NHIA 2025) is in the books for WeInfuse & RxToolKit! This year, our team traveled up to Washington, D.C. to partake in the NHIA 2025 happenings, alongside other home infusion and specialty pharmacy professionals. This year’s conference had a total of 1600 total attendees.
Our NHIA 2025 trip included the WeInfuse & RxToolKit + Tennr NHIA Welcome Party, the Infusion Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) meeting, NHIA Exhibit Hall time, an NHIA speaker session with our very own Justin Whitsett (Pharmacist Operations Specialist), and more.

Hope the Party Never Stops – The WeInfuse + RxToolKit + Tenner NHIA Welcome Party
Another year, another great party. Last year was our first time hosting a Welcome party, and we loved it so much, we decided to do it again! This year’s WeInfuse & RxToolKit Welcome Party included one of our amazing partners, Tennr – an AI automation platform.
So after the exciting NHIA Opening Reception on Sunday afternoon, our teams made their way over to The Brass Tap to host an amazing evening of free food & drinks, music, games, photo booths, and even an Apple Watch raffle.
Needless to say, we loved every bit of Sunday night’s WeInfuse + RxToolKit + Tennr Welcome Party. Seeing everyone sport a glow stick and play a little beer pong with our company-themed pong balls was such a fun sight to see. Thank you to everyone–infusion partners, clients, and new faces–for joining us for an exciting time. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Pharmacy Chats – Our Bright and Early Infusion Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) Meeting
On Monday morning, the Infusion Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) met up to discuss pharmacy and infusion updates. ITAC assembles leaders from the AIC, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare technology sectors to support WeInfuse’s continued growth and expansion of its software solution.
Our ITAC members in 
attendance included: WeInfuse CEO & Co-Founder Bryan Johnson; WeInfuse & Co-Founder Reece Norris; Curewell Capital Co-Founder Ceron Rhee; Curewell Capital Co-Founder Michael Dal Bello; Fmr Option Care Health COO Harriet Booker; Fmr Coram CVS/Specialty Infusion Services CFO & COO Rob Allen; BioMatrix Specialty Infusion Pharmacy SVP (Trade Relations) Dan Teich; and Palmetto Infusion VP of IT Justin Card.
The additional WeInfuse members in attendance included: VP of Sales Princeton King; Consultant & Sales Liaison Julie Walker; VP of Pharmacy Solutions Kourtney (Jackson) Yankovich; Pharmacy Operations Specialist Justin Whitsett; and Pharmacy Implementation Manager Ralph Baluyot. During their meeting, the team discussed pharmacy updates and analyzed the WeInfuse Pharmacy Workflow, to better enhance it for home infusion & specialty pharmacies.
Recent updates to WeInfuse’s pharmacy workflow include Drug Utilization Review (DUR) to check for medication to medication or medication to allergy interactions with the drug being dispensed for a patient and an NCPDP Claims workflow embedded in the Pharmacy software. With comprehensive medical and NCPDP claims feature sets, users can keep track of prescriptions as medications are dispensed by the pharmacy or when medications are pulled out of infusion center inventory, including cases where benefits are analyzed under both the pharmacy and medical benefit to determine the best treatment and reimbursement path.
The pharmacy module is also seamlessly integrated with WeInfuse’s in-office workflows to further streamline the documentation and administration of infusion & injection drugs for pharmacies with infusion suites. We are working with clients like TwelveStone Health Partners to better optimize both their infusion center and specialty pharmacy workflows, all within one software solution.

Exhibit Hall time on Monday and Tuesday! Our WI and RxTK teams gathered in the exhibit hall where they met other outstanding infusion professionals and demo’d the software.

Justin Whitsett and Kristen Kruszewski – True Pioneers in the Pharmacy Space
Also, did you hear the amazing Speaker Session hosted by our very own Justin Whitsett, Pharmacist Operations Specialist? Justin teamed up with Kristen Kruszewski for their session, “Market Entry & Expansion: Get In Where You Fit In.” During this time, they discussed characteristics and considerations necessary to effectively enter or expand into infusion markets. They also hit on key factors to help listeners gain an understanding of the innovative and non-traditional partnerships available to support their infusion businesses.
This session included these three objectives: Identify and describe varying infusion business model options to determine which is most effective internally; analyze the benefits of non-traditional business partnerships in market entry and advancement; and discuss the importance and positive impact of these services upon patients, providers, and the healthcare systems we serve.
