No, WeInfuse is not a management company nor a management service organization (MSO). We are a web-based software and consulting company.

Does WeInfuse offer inbound and outbound faxing?

Yes, WeInfuse offers inbound and outbound faxing as part of our Enhanced Patient Engagement (EPE) features.

In addition to faxing, EPE includes one-way text messaging, secure SMS messaging, and customizable forms.

Does WeInfuse support dispensing medications from my practice or a separate pharmacy, in addition to infusion center workflows?

Yes, WeInfuse offers a complete pharmacy management system (PMS). Our PMS workflow solutions include NCPDP (PBM) and medical claim features, pharmacist documentation tools, and more.

WeInfuse supports specialty pharmacies, medically integrated dispensers (MIDs), and home infusion pharmacies. These pharmacy features integrate seamlessly with our infusion center and infusion suite workflows.

How does WeInfuse support clients who are accredited?

WeInfuse clients are often accredited by one or more organizations such as Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), and/or The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO). Combining our assessment, goal, intervention, and monitoring tools with our robust analytics features gives our clients confidence to meet accrediting standards.

Our physician practice / hospital already has an EMR / EHR system. Does WeInfuse integrate with our existing systems?

Yes, WeInfuse is not intended to replace a physician practice or hospital electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic healthcare record (EHR) system. Instead, we work seamlessly together and integrate with almost every EMR or EHR system.

Does WeInfuse offer an online library of medication guides?

Yes, Through WeInfuse’s integration with RxToolKit, we offer a library of medication guides and built-in calculators for biologics, vaccines, antibiotics, other injectables, hemophilia drugs, and oncology medications.

Can I create custom intake forms and send patients appointment reminders?

Yes, Automated appointment reminders are included with the WeInfuse software for all clients. With WeInfuse’s Enhanced Patient Engagement (EPE) features enabled, users gain access to Formstack (now Intellistack), whereby users can create custom forms for intake, feedback surveys, patient consents, and medication orders. Additionally, users may send one-way text messages and chat with patients via secure SMS messaging.

Hardware, Implementation, & Onboarding

What about the installation / implementation? Do I need to buy any hardware?

WeInfuse is a web-based software application, so additional technology is not strictly required. If your organization has a computer and internet access, chances are, you are ready for WeInfuse.

To optimize the WeInfuse experience, we do recommend leveraging vial scanning, medication label printing, and even patient identification scanning features. We partner with Zebra and support Zebra barcode scanners and label printers.

How long does it take to implement the WeInfuse software?

Going live on our software varies depending on factors specific to your organization, such as the number of locations and the number of existing patients.

Following receipt of a signed agreement, our implementation team works closely with your organization to develop a training and implementation plan and schedule, leveraging Click-Up, our project management software. In addition to role-based, live video training sessions, client users gain access to our online video training library, WeInfuse University (WeInfuseU). For an optimal implementation, clients should leverage Click-Up and WeInfuseU.

Does support end at go-live?

No, Support does not end after you go live with WeInfuse. We provide ongoing support and training. Our Client Success team supports our clients in many ways: 

Live, In-House Support: Our Client Success team is available during normal business hours, and we monitor support requests after-hours. Our Client Success team is available by phone, email (support@weinfuse.com), and in-app chat.

Scheduled Training Sessions: Our dedicated Client Success Account Managers schedule training and support sessions with clients. 

WeInfuse University (WeInfuseU): Clients have continuous access to WeInfuseU, our online video training library. With WeInfuseU, users have access to role-based on-demand training videos.

Webinar Wednesdays: Our team also hosts a monthly webinar series, Webinar Wednesdays, to showcase new features and integrations. These client-only webinars help clients utilize the full capabilities of our software. 

Annual Users Meeting: WeInfuse users are also encouraged to attend the annual live WeInfuse University Users Meeting, an exclusive, client-only, in-person event. Each summer, ahead of the National Infusion Center Association (NICA) conference, we host our annual Users Meeting, where our clients can meet with our Client Success team to get in-depth, in-person training.
